Estão vagos a partir de agora 2 locais de trabalho individuais e 1 sala para duas pessoas indicados para pessoas que trabalhem em áreas criativas e que utilizem o espaço com regularidade.

We have two new deskspaces and one room for two freelancers for rent at the Lisbon Studio. The workspace, in Sta. Apolónia, is amazing, it has incredible views over the river Tagus and the resident artists are all extremely talented and very lovely.

These workspaces would be ideal for a creative person who would like to use it frequently.

Crowdfunding

Desculpem-nos o longo silêncio. Os membros do The Lisbon Studio têm andado muito atarefados (ou de férias) e quando têm tempo acabam por postar nos seus blogues pessoais - blogues que podem consultar na coluna à direita.

Um post rápido, para apresentar a campanha de crowdfunding que a Sara lançou para a sua nova curta metragem de animação - "Final Call". A Sara foi convidada para desenvolver este projecto na Dinamarca, como parte da residência artística organizada pela The Animation Workshop e está presentemente a explorar diferentes métodos para financiar a sua produção. Podem contribuir para o financiamento do filme em troca de prendas como o DVD, t-shirts, serigrafias e créditos no filme. A Sara ficaria muitíssimo agradecida. Todas as contribuições contam - mesmo a mais pequenina!

Apologies for the long silence. The Lisbon Studio members have all been very busy (or on holiday) and if they get a little window they tend to update their own blogs - you can find these in the column on the right.

Just a quick note to present Sara's crowdfunding campaign for her new animated short film intitled "Final Call". Sara has developed the project with the support of the Open Workshop - the artistic residency hosted by The Animation Workshop in Denmark and she's presently finding ways to finance her new venture. There are rewards for every contribution, small or large, such as the DVD, t-shirts, screenprints and even credits on the film. Sara would be very grateful if you'd like to chip in and be involved.

Sara Barbas em Annecy

O projecto de longa metragem de Sara Barbas intitulado "Oddsockshire" foi um dois seis projectos seleccionados para serem apresentados este ano em França, no Festival Internacional de Cinema de Animação de Annecy. O festival vai decorrer de 6 a 12 de Junho e os pitches das longas vão ter lugar no Creative Focus entre as 17.30 eas 19:30. Se tiverem por lá venham ouvir o pitch da Sara! O Creative Focus está aberto a todos os participantes do Festival com acreditação.

Sara Barbas' new feature film project - "Oddsockshire" was one of the six selected to be pitched in France this year, at the International Animated Film Festival of Annecy. The festival will take place from the 6th to the 12th of June and the feature film pitches will be held at the Creative Focus on the 7th of June between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. If you are around come and attend Sara's pitch! Creative Focus is open to anyone with a Festival Accreditation.
